Path of Exile Patch:Complete Guide to All Quality-of-Life Improvements

Since the launch of the Path of Exile Keepers League, Grinding Gear Games has been steadily rolling out adjustments to improve gameplay balance, pacing, and player comfort. These changes refine crafting, trading, boss fights, and Keepers-specific content, making the rest of the league smoother and more rewarding.

Below is a comprehensive breakdown of all major improvements included in the latest patch.

Hive Fortress Improvements

The Hive Fortress mechanic has been one of the signature features of the Keepers League, but it has also been one of the most divisive. Early in the league, there were no defensive walls, causing waves of monsters to overwhelm players from all directions. GGG later added walls with openings, but this slowed down the efficient clearing of the map.

Patch 3.27.0d introduces the best version of the encounter yet:

New "Destroy All Walls" Prompt

At the beginning of every Hive Fortress encounter, players will now receive an option to remove all surrounding walls around Ailith. This gives players the freedom to choose:

Walls up for safety

Walls removed for speed

This flexibility benefits both casual players and those rushing maps to buy POE Items or stack currency quickly.Don't wait for victory – buy your POE currency and start dominating the realm!

Important note:

This option is only available for the first four waves. After that, walls remain to ensure late waves stay challenging.

Sirius Boss Fight Adjustments

With the Keepers League rework of The Feared invitation-removing Chayula and Atziri while adding Sirus and the Incarnation of Dread-players have been demanding tweaks to make Sirus fit the encounter better.

Patch 3.27.0d brings two key improvements:

1.Siriuss Now Uses More of His Classic Mechanics

This makes the fight more dynamic and slightly more difficult, matching the power level of the invitation's other bosses.

2. Life Thresholds Removed

Previously, Sirus had protections preventing him from being one-shot. These thresholds have now been removed, meaning high-damage builds can melt the encounter more efficiently.

This results in a smoother, faster, and more familiar encounter inside The Feared.

Merchant Tab Quality-of-Life Upgrades

The Merchant Tab has become an essential trading tool in Path of Exile, but some usability issues were holding it back. Patch 3.27.0d introduces several important improvements:

1.CTRL+F Now Works in Sales History

Players can finally search their transaction history, making it much easier to track prices, buyers, and specific items.

2. "H" Typing Bug Fixed

A bizarre issue prevented players from typing the letter "h" in sales history. This is now resolved.

3. Untradable Items Are Now Greyed Out

If an item cannot be sold via the Merchant Tab-and must be exchanged via the Currency Exchange instead-it now appears visibly greyed out. This prevents confusion and wasted clicks.

These subtle fixes greatly increase trading efficiency, especially for players flipping items or bulk-selling during mapping sessions.

Orb of Scouring Crafting Shortcut

Crafting speed is incredibly important in Path of Exile, especially during league starts or high-volume crafting of Path of Exile items.Unleash your potential in Path of Exile. Get your Path of exile currency for sale at MMOexp today!

Patch 3.27.0d introduces one of the best minor crafting QoL features of the year:

1.Quick-Swap Between Crafting Orbs Using ALT

While using:

Orb of Alchemy

Orb of Chance

Pressing ALT temporarily switches to an Orb of Scouring.

This prevents:

Accidentally bricking a valuable base

Wasting currency

Interrupting your crafting flow

The result is faster, safer, and more intuitive crafting interactions.

Incarnation Boss Fight Updates

The Incarnation bosses-especially their Uber versions-are among the hardest encounters in Path of Exile. However, players in Ruthless mode were missing out on their exclusive drops, making those fights feel unrewarding.

Patch 3.27.0d corrects this and more:

1.Ruthless Mode Now Properly Grants Boss Drops

Players will now receive the intended exclusive loot from Incarnation boss encounters.

2. Nerfs to Incarnation of Neglect

Both:

Ice Nova slam

Ice Comets

We were dealing more damage than intended. These abilities have now been toned down, making the fight more fair and consistent.

3. Incarnation of Dread Arena Fix

The chilled ground now spawns correctly across random positions in the arena, restoring the intended fight mechanics.

These improvements ensure the Incarnation encounters feel polished, fair, and properly rewarding.

While patch 3.27.0d may not be the largest update of the Keepers League, its collection of targeted QoL fixes makes it one of the most impactful. GGG has addressed numerous community frustrations-from Hive Fortress pacing to crafting and trading usability-while also improving boss encounter fairness and rewards.
