It may not rival a super warship in sheer firepower, but the Blider excels in tactical versatility. It comes equipped with Plaguing and Spite as special abilities, giving it unique offensive and defensive capabilities.
This guide will focus on a torpedo-heavy, mixed-damage build that balances flooding and toxic status effects, along with strong armor debuffing and targeted explosives. By the end, you'll see how the Blider can tackle both ships and towers with terrifying efficiency.
Frontline Torpedoes: The Daka
At the forefront of this build is the Daka, mounted on the Blider's port side. The Daka deals 4,314 damage per shot with a reload of just four seconds, and it comes equipped with Sunder, a crucial ability that sets up your enemy for follow-up attacks.
When armed, Daka torpedoes:
Increase speed by 100%
Penetrate through target ships
Reduce armor by 200 for 10 seconds
This last effect is key: every Daka hit effectively weakens your enemy's defenses, allowing your subsequent flooding and toxic attacks to deal maximum damage.
For this build, we rolled Noxious Raider and Amplified Piercing on the Daka, ensuring each shot deals high damage while applying crucial debuffs to your target. By hitting once with the Daka, you set your enemies up for devastating follow-ups with other weapons on the Blider.
Port Side Weaponry: The Blightbringer
The Blightbringer is the main weapon on the Blider's port side, designed to complement your Daka torpedoes with toxic damage and status effects. Its stats include:
Damage: 5,399
Reload: 3.74 seconds
Contagion: When armed, afflicts targets with the gaseous status effect, dealing 300 poison damage per second to all enemies within 150 meters
The Blightbringer can stack the toxic effect up to eight times, turning your Blider into a moving poison cloud. For the Blightbringer, we applied Noxious, Amplified Toxic, and another Amplified Toxic, creating the god-roll setup for maximum sustained damage.
This setup ensures your port side deals consistent toxic damage while the Daka debuffs armor. In practice, the combination allows for a smooth opening strike: hit with Daka, reduce armor, and then let the Blightbringer's toxic clouds melt enemy crews and hulls.
Starboard Weaponry: Flooding Focus
On the starboard side, the build flips the damage focus. Instead of toxic damage, we lean into flooding effects. The starboard Blightbringer setup includes:

Special Abilities: Rupturing, Amplified Flooding, Amplified Flooding
Stern Weapons: Frost for Towers
For stern coverage, we mount a Frost weapon equipped with Noxious. Its stats:

Auxiliary modules are the secret sauce of this build.
Spirit Collar: Deals 3,181 damage with 310 toxic and 257 flooding damage. Equipped with Noxious, Soul Mending, and Overflow, the Spirit Collar provides essential healing support, particularly since this build doesn't use a healing buoy.
Nocturn Heart: Equipped with Maintenance, Armored, and Survivor, this module enhances survivability and keeps the crew in fighting shape.
These auxiliaries ensure that the Blider can sustain through prolonged engagements while continuing to apply toxic and flooding effects.
Furniture Choices: Drowning Cabinet and More
Proper furniture selection is critical for maximizing weapon efficiency and status effects. Here's the setup for this build:
Drowning Cabinet: Damage dealt to targets with reduced max hull health increases weapon damage by 15% for 20 seconds (60-second cooldown). Also increases flooding duration by 12% and reduces reload time of flooding weapons by 10%. This furniture is a major reason this Blider build is considered OP.
Costic Ball Station: Every flooding weapon within 20 meters deals 13% more flooding damage. For each 1% projectile speed increase, flooding damage goes up 1%. Additionally, enemies with flooded effects take 10% more damage.
Tuning Station One: Increases secondary torpedo damage by 20%, projectile speed by 13%, and restores 10% crew stamina per second out of combat.
Torpedo Grinder One: Boosts projectile speed of torpedoes by 15%, decreases reload time of broadside weapons by 7%, and increases secondary damage by 7%.
Torpedo Works One: Increases secondary torpedo damage by 19%.
This combination ensures maximum output from both torpedoes and flooding weapons, while also providing utility through faster reloads and longer-lasting status effects.
Gameplay and Combat Strategy
With this setup, combat revolves around sequenced weapon deployment. Here's the general approach:
1.Initiate with Daka Torpedoes: Reduce enemy armor by 200 for 10 seconds.
2.Deploy Port Blightbringer: Stack toxic damage and start poisoning crews.
3.Starboard Flooding Attack: Engage flooding weapons to slow enemy maneuvering and reduce their stamina.
4.Auxiliary Support: Spirit Collar heals while continuing to deal toxic/flooding damage.
5.Stern Frost for Towers: Take out stuck targets or defensive structures when needed.
During gameplay, the synergy between toxic and flooding effects is extremely potent. Toxic saps enemy stamina, while flooding prevents quick repairs and slows movement. Combine this with armor reduction from Daka torpedoes, and your Blider can essentially melt enemies in minutes.
